About Labmóvel

LABMOVEL project provides a mobile media laboratory for the production of art residencies, workshops and cultural events. Because of its nomadic character, the program aims to help create temporary environments that arouse curiosity and greater access to situations outside the institutional axis, favoring a crossroads of diverse cultural, social and economic origins. Mediation plays a crucial role in the interaction between this structure and its audience.The project is coordinated by Lucas Bambozzi and Gisela Domschke .

DIY Portable Projectors

Ever thought that it’s possible to turn your phone or tablet into a video projector?This workshop proposes the construction of DIY video projectors with cheap materials and equipment that are deprecated in your home. Have you ever thought how cool to see videos of your cell phone projected on the wall of your home? And on the screen of a van in a little square? So learn it!

Materials used in the workshop:

Tablet
cell phone
cardboard boxes (cooler if they are found on the street or donated by the super market)
cardboard pipes
fresnel (taken from old or purchased retro projectors, meets for about R $ 20.00)
magnifying lenses (from soldering iron holder, from grandfather, take the test and see which one works best)
mirror (of those of 1 real)
hot glue
aluminum paper
small screws
black fabric
Speakers? Hum … maybe … to connect on the cell phone …
scissors, stylus
pilot pen (to draw on cardboard)
