Brief Overview

The expansion of human perception, such as vision, hearing and touch and exploration techniques to generate connections between body and technology acquire a level of technological experimental and artistic reflection on ”Hybrid : experimental prototyping on augmented perception

This project promotes the production and technological innovation with the resources we have available today. Is a project to promote meetings, connections between: prototyping in experimental electronic laboratory; conversations about art, science and (bio)technology; and practice of body perception with the augmented devices built in the prototyping lab.

The project begins in Brazil (USP University of São Paulo between March 17 and April 30, 2014 ) and ends in Mexico (UNAM Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico between May 12 and June 28) .
To create connections, to increase the power of the proposed ideas, to discuss the role of the body in the midst (bio)technology innovations are fundamental keys for this project.

The theoretical part of the project consists of open lectures. Lab activities and workshops will be limited (for reasons of space) to participants who enroll in a public call. You can follow the development of projects in the Wiki and Projects Blog.

The lectures will give a theoretical support to the lab. It will be a place for deepening the discussions in a technical and poetic form. It is a challenge to gather such distinguished professionals in the same project, it is bold because it takes us out of our comfort zones, urging us to go beyond our expectations.

Everyone is welcome.
